The Tomb of Sa'di Shiraz

Within Iran there are many famous poets and two are held in particularly high esteem. This is the tomb of one of the Sa'di. Otherwise known as Sheikh Mohammed Shams-ed-Din he lived from 1207 to 1291. Many of his verses are still used like proverbs in modern conversations and his most famous works - Rose Garden and Garden of Trees - have been translated in many other languages.
