The Ladies Mosque

5 November 2010

Imam Square Esfahan

Built in the early 1600s this is one of the most fabulously decorated mosques in Iran and unique in not having a minaret or a courtyard. The dome is covered with an intricate design of cream coloured tiles that reflect the changing light during the day.
