India – synonymous with gap year travelers, crowded markets and cows wandering the streets. It had never been somewhere I had particularly thought of going so when a friend suggested it as the next destination for one of our trips it came as something of a surprise.
On this particular trip I did the Delhi, Agra, Jaipur triangle travelling between the three by bus and stopping off at various towns, villages and nature reserves along the way. Unfortunately I didn’t see any tigers (although we did spot a leopard) however there were so many other things to photograph that the trip was definitely an eye opener.
Outside the big cities and in the small villages and towns the people are so friendly and welcoming, which combined with the architecture and beautiful light, makes India an ideal photography destination.
